What is Inventle?
A daily invention guessing game inspired by Wordle. Each day, you're given a historical invention and you have 6 tries to guess the year it was created. Colored digits guide you to the answer: green means exact, amber means off by 1, and slate means off by 2 or more.
How it works
After the main round, bonus rounds challenge you to guess the country of origin and the inventor. Track your stats, build your streak, and share your results with friends.
The database
Inventle features 773 inventions spanning thousands of years of human history — from ancient tools like the wheel and the plow to modern innovations like CRISPR and SpaceX's reusable rockets. New puzzles rotate daily.
Why I built it
I wanted a fun, educational game that teaches people about the history of innovation. Every puzzle is a mini history lesson. No accounts required, no data collected, just play.
